Annually in Pottsboro, Texas we have our Frontier Day celebration at Friendship Park. Held this year on September 25 & 26, this event celebrates the early cattle drive along the old Preston Trail through Pottsboro. Friday night offers live entertainment, vendor booths & carnival rides. Saturday- arrive early for an array of events. There are tons of vendors with just about anything you could imagine for purchase, face painting and of course lots to eat! 
There will also be a benefit in conjunction with Frontier Days called Miles for Smiles. This event will benefit the Pottsboro Kids Club. 5K/1 Mile fun run will begin at 8am on Saturday the 26th at Friendship Park. Registrations can be made by completing this entry form.
Friendship Park is located at the eastern entrance into Pottsboro. Local merchants invite you to come shop, tour Pottsboro and see our town.
